ECOLOGY
Seagrass meadows and reefs in tropical and temperate Western Australia are sites of extreme biodiversity and endemism, globally. They are threatened by climate change and human development. Our major research programs address species diversity and distribution in relation to the physical environment, stress biology of individual species, biotic interactions like competition, herbivory and predation, and resilience of these ecosystems.
